Te reo Challenge Kowhaiwhai Patterns

LI:To design a kowhaiwhai pattern for our PBS Te Reo Blog.

My kowhaiwhai patterns are about life. As you can see we have the maori plants such as the koro. So that we know there is life everywhere we venture. I used the traditional maori colors which are red, white, and black. The first row representing the plants in the dawn. The second row showing the plants in dusk and the last row in the night.

  1. Kia Ora Juel, I love how you have represented a plant growing throughout different parts of the day. Where did you get the idea from? The traditional colours look awesome, especially accompanied with a very modern and well thought our design.
