LI: To Write a poem about Felling

Today we learnt how to make a Diamante poem. A Diamante poem is when you have to topic at the bottom and the top and for each line you have to put in a different word like on the 2 line you have to write to adjectives. and on line 3 you have to write three words that end with ing and on the 4 line you have to write a noun about your topic.

today for writing i had to learn how to write a stanza a stanza is when you have for sentences and two of them rhyme and the other two as well and i had listen to a poem that is called twas the night before Christmas i had to write my own poem like that as well and i had to re make a poem about twas the night before Christmas and then i had to think of so,me good words that rhyme and then i could start making my poem.

LI: to identify key functions in a poem.
this week for reading our must do was to choose a poem and we had to find some of the functions in the poem that i chose the poem that i chose was called the Moon. and then we ha to make a poster of some of the examples that i have found in my poem and we also had to write the authors purpose of writing this poem.
