The first activity we had was to listen carefully to the instructions that our kiwi can leader gave us and when she said cone it than we have to try and get the cone before our partner does. The last activity we played was also about listening, We had one person tell the next person what the message, the message goes around the group of people and we have to see if the message was the same as what the first person said.

Kiwi Can Reflection
At Kiwi Can we learnt about Leadership. This is really important this year because we are the senior students at Panmure Bridge School. We need to take risks, show confidence and be a role model for our junior students. Being a leader is hard and is something we never stop learning about. Confidence comes with practise and sometimes getting it wrong.

Empathy means being understandable and being enthusiastic. Courtesy means being kind and respectful to others. Ways of being empathetic is showing an act of kindness with people. Ways of being Courteous are being respectful and helpful to others.

In kiwi Can we learnt about how to respect others for the differences in culture, religion, and customs. We talked about what differences we had. Some were our ideas beliefs and their thoughts. And to see what the differences were we played a game to show what they are. We had to get into partners and we were numbered 1 and 2 we person had to turn around and the other person had to change his/her own appearance. They could change their hair or facial expression. I really liked the activity becuase it taught us that we are not all the same and that we can be different.
