Viking Raiders!



LI: To practice feeding skills
To take turns and listen to others

To learn new words
Today our reading groups all had a book each to read it and to the activity the book that our group was reading was called Viking Raiders! This story is about a boy called Scott he looks in the old mirror and sees a very strange person wearing very strange cloths Scott felt himself falling into the old mirror when Scott went through the mirror he appeared to be on a Viking ship
We had to buddy read with a partner from our reading groups then once we have finished the book we have to do an activity to do the activity we had to do a true or false quiz then after that activity was to make compound words using the words.

Hauora

LI: To know what  Hauora is
We learnt about hauora. Hauora has four dimensions the first one is physical emotional/mental social last one is spiritual  
We had to get into groups of four and we had to make a poster explaining the four dimensions.

To infer characters. We had to infer characters from this book called Hatupatu and the bird woman we had an activity to do we had to infer the characters in the book.By doing an activity and by infer a character in a book.

Antonyms

L:I to use Antonyms to make our writing more interesting
Antonyms are words with different meanings for example blunt and sharp.There was an activity for all of us we had to replace the underlined words with the opposite meanings.
