LI: to solve addition questions and attempt subtraction using place value on a number line.

A number line is a line that can help you solve equations. And today we had to use the number line to solve the ,ath equation by moving around the different pieces on the poster and when we do that it will give us the answer. After that we did another maths activity it was were we had to fill in the numbers of the blank space.

Today for maths we were learning to round numbers the the nearest thousand using place value. I made a video of how to round to the nearest 1000 using place value and i learnt lots of new things and it was very interesting. and this video explains how to round numbers.

For Maths I learnt about number patterns and how you can solve them and also about place value. First we learnt about Place Value and we learnt about the three columns 100, 10, 1. and we learnt about number patterns for example we had to look at all the numbers and we had to find out what number was changing and also what number comes next .

today for math i had to use the place value strategy and i had to do the basic facts box and i had to do the subtraction box up to one hundred i also had to use by book so that i could write down what i needed to learn and so that i can do the place value strategy.

Today for maths i was learning about place value and i had to use 3 digits numbers to find out how many 100 and 10 are in the number we had to answer different questions about how many 100 and 10 are in the number and i had to make and image of an example of how we can use a place value abacus and found out how much the number is worth.
