Leadership

LI: To unpack what leader ship looks like.

Our Inquiry objective was to think and learn about the four important qualities of a good and reliable leader and what leadership looks like.

In our groups, we started by talking about the four qualities of a good leader and the definition of each quality.

The four qualities of a good leader are: leadership, responsibility, being a role-model and team work.

One we defined each quality, we wrote down as many words as we could that related to the qualities of a good leader.

After this, our group came together to write a 25 word paragraph that talks about the qualities of a good leader. We used the words that we picked out from the list to create this paragraph.

Finally, we created an infographic poster (using a google draw) to  define the four qualities a good leader should have.

I enjoyed doing this activity becuase I learnt some of the attributes of becoming a leader and it was fun because I got to learn how to become a reliable, responsible, and mind-full leader.

Kiwi Reflection

LI: To Listen
This week for kiwi can we are learning about being a leader, we were also taught to listen to people who share there thinking (ideas). We played two activities called bop it and Chinese whisper. The first activity we had was to listen carefully to the instructions that our kiwi can leader gave us and when she said cone it than we have to try and get the cone before our partner does. The last activity we played was also about listening, We had one person tell the next person what the message, the message goes around the group of people and we have to see if the message was the same as what the first person said.

Kiwi Can Reflection

At Kiwi Can we learnt about Leadership. This is really important this year because we are the senior students at Panmure Bridge School. We need to take risks, show confidence and be a role model for our junior students. Being a leader is hard and is something we never stop learning about. Confidence comes with practise and sometimes getting it wrong.
