LI To identify the parts of a Narrative
LI To investigate figurative language

For writing we are learning about Figurative language we learnt about Simile's, Metaphor, Personification, Hyperbole, and lastly understatement. A simile is Comparing two things using the word like or as. a Metaphor is Comparing two things without using the words like or as. Personification is Giving human qualities to objects. Hyperbole is Over exaggerating to show strong feelings. And the last one we learnt about was a Understatement it is An expression with less feelings shown
Opposite of a hyperbole. After we learnt about them we had to find examples and write them down and then we had to write a definition down.

LI: to identify different forms of Figurative Language

Today for  writing we learned about figurative language these are some of the forms of figurative language personification alliteration idiom simile metaphor we had to watch a video and then we had to color code all of the forms of figurative language and then we had to write about what was happening in the video using figurative language.
