Venn Diagram

LI: To compare and contrast what NZ was like in 1870 and now in 2020.

For one of our distance learning task we had to create a venn diagram that come pares life in New Zealand in the year 1870 and what it is like know in 2020. I worked colaboratively with a friend to complete this task. Some of the differences that we pointed out in our DLO are the clothing women in 1870 were expected to wear dress's and skirts but now in 2020 it is now optional to wear a dress or skirt we have a full wardrobe of different variety of clothing. Me and my partner also had to point out some of the simalrites that the both have in common. One thing they both had in common was the transport in 1870 they still used busses, trains, cars, ect. to travel around.

Venn Diagram

LI: To compare and contrast

Today in reading we worked collaboratively to complete this Venn diagram. We had to write the differences of Kupe and James cook and in the middle we had to write what they both have in common. some differences are that they both sailed in diferent boats kupe sailed in a waka and James cook sailed in the endevour and something they have I common is that they both found New Zealand by mistake and are well respected leaders.

inquiry/T Chart/Padlet/ Compare & Contrast

LI: Identify actions and factors that can prevent a team from working co-operatively

LI:Identify characteristics of being a good citizen

LI:Identify characteristics of having a healthy/non healthy relationship

Today for inquiry me and my group learnt our relationships and how they can change. So first we made a padlet that has information about how we could have relationships and how they could change.  And then we had to do a compare and contrast we had to compare a sports team and a learning group we had to write down what a sports team does and we had to also write what a learning groups does together and in the middle we had to write what they both have in common  like they both work as a team.

After that we had to make a T chart that has 10 good things to do when you are in a team and we had to do 10 bad things that you should not do in a team we all had to come up with ideas and we then had to list the best for the 10 good things that you should do in a group we had to put the best one that we thought was going to be most helpful when in a group.
