Reading

LI: to retell and record our myth or legend
Today for reading we had to read this legend we had to read the story and so that we know what it means and so that we can understand the Myth and when we finished that we had to go and make a google slide that as pictures of the story and when we finished making the google slide we had to make i recording of us reading the story and with our google slide and then we could blog about it.

The Myth: Te Rā is lonely. Everyday Te Rā travels all alone across the sky at night his Brother and sisters Te Marma & Ngā Whetu traveled across the sky. Singing, Laughing, And sharing stories. Sometimes Te Marama would visit Te Rā  in the day time.  

Every time Te Marama left Te Rā he would Sigh sadly and he asked if Te Marama if she could stay she replied i have to go and look after our brother Ngā Whetu  and Te Rā Asked if they both could come and visit him but Te Marama said no your light is to strong for Ngā whetu he will just fade away

Te Rā searched and searched for a woman and then he came across Tangaroa and he asked if he could marie one off his daughters and then Te Rā went and asked Hine-Raumati the summer Daughter and she said Thank you for making the crops grow.


Then Te Rā went and asked Hine-Takurua the daughter of the Winter she told Te Rā some of here Tales of the sea and some jokes. Te Rā had to think of witch one he should marie he thought of it for a long time
And then when he finally made up is mind he asked both of the daughters
When he asked both of them they both agreed on it. And when Te Rā visit them the days become shorter and is called the solstice.
