Cybersmart


Today this week we had to get into a group of four and talk about what do you bye, food,clothes,ball and we all thought to yourself what we do but we first had to think shopping by person for a start you can bye a ball from amazon or wish. then after that we have to talk about the online shopping so the websites that we go on and bye like examples clothes were are some clothes websites that you go on like the warehouse site. then after that we had to make a DLO about what are some shopping shops that you wold go to and the online sites

LI:To pass the ball backward and side pass.
This week for  kiwi sport we had to get a belt and 2 rips then we played ripper rush and we had to have a tagger then we had to run then the tagger has to rip one of the rippers then your in the middle with the tagger.Then we played ripper we had to have a rugby ball and we need to pass the ball when someone takes your tag of then you need to pass the ball and Try.

Samoan Language week


Today we was Samoan language week we had to work with LS2 and we had to get into a group of four and we had to choose a topic about Samoa like what food they eat and how they make it. and we had to write some info about how they can prepare there food.

Octopus


Today for writing we learned how to make a explanations and we all had to choose a subject to write an explanation about the topic that i choose was on octopus and we had to first plan it out on a explanation planer and we had to write down some ideas about what i can write about octopus and i wrote about how an octopus can attack their prey and how they can senses things around them.

Kiwi Can


 Today for Kiwi can we had a energizer it was called bang the aim of this game is to try and not get out there is one person in the middle of the circle and they have to say some ones name and then if there name is called then we have to bob down and the other two people on the side and to try and shoot the other person . then after that we had a activity it was called tutti fruity and we had to get into a circle and there is one person in the middle and if they say apple then we had to jump forward and if they say orange then you jump backwards and if they say banana then we turn around.

This week for kiwi sport the first game was everybody it.To play you need to have a rap and a ripper then every person has to take a ripper of someone then you keep on playing if you have the most then your the winner.Then we played ripper rush this game is like bull rush we had to have one tagger that was Andrew then he tagged one person.

LI :To learn as much about the digestive system before we move on an other subject

Today we got 7 points we got 2 points of this piece of work.We had to make a word ring about the digestive system like I said before,so we had fine whats the most important and whats not important.The larger the ring the more it does not matter to the digestive system.Next to the word ring is a description about the words and very small meanings about it.

Explanation about fireworks


 LI: to plan and write an explanation.
 This weeks writing is about writing an explanation about fireworks and all of the parts they have on a fire work the is a head that is on the top of the firework and there is gunpowder there is a stick. and the stick is like a support to help the firework shot straight up in the sky and when the fuse light and the charge it makes a color explosion.

Today for Kiwi can our theme is integrity and our new topic is role models a role model is someone that you look up to and who you want to be like when we grow up and integrity means making good choices when no ones looking. our energizer was called dogie dogie that aim of this game is there is one person that is blind folded and there is a pen at there feet and the have to protect the pen with the pool noodle and all of the rest of the people had to get into teams of four and they have to try and get the pen. then we had our lesson about role models after that we had our activity in was called who's  missing the aim of the game is to try and guess who is missing we all had to lay down on our stomach and close our eyes and the teacher has to tap some one on the shoulder and if they get taped then they have to go inside the other room.

Today for morai we learned about all the different emotions like angry, cold, hot, and happy. we had to draw all the four emotions on our piece of paper and then we had to finish of our pepeha and we had to share it  to our teacher.

















































































































Self monitoring


LI: to self monitor our understandings.
This week for reading we learned how to self monitor and clarify our must do is we have to read a book and we have to find three new words that we haven't seen before or we don't know what it means. The first word that i go stuck on was called Knots and when we have found a new word that we have found then we have to try and find the meaning of this word and we have to write the strategy on a the google doc. And then when we have found all three words we can make a video using screencastify  and then we can blog it.

Today for reading we looked at making connections. we have to make connections to Text to Self, Text to Text, and Text to World we made connections by reading two books they were about Jellyfish and Octopus. and the second book is about Spiders. we had to write what the text says about jellyfish and octopus then we had to make a connection about it.

life cycle about the butterfly


LI: to write the life cycle of butterfly.
today for writing we learnt about how a caterpillar can turn into a butterfly it starts of from a small caterpillar egg and then when it hatches it goes of and looks for food to eat.then after a caterpillar is done growing it forms its cocoon around itself. when a caterpillar cocoon opens a butter fly comes out. we had to write all the stages about a butterfly and we had to add some photos about the life cycle of a butterfly.

Today at kiwi can we had a energizer with our kiwi can teacher Mrs Lilly. so she then told us how to play the goal of this game is to clap at the same time when she folded her arms in and out then we had to sit down and we had our lesson about what the word integrity means. we had to try and find out what the word integrity it means making good choices when you fell like doing it then we had our activity it was called protect the Jedi the goal of this game is to protect the person that's in the hula hoop and that person is the Jedi and the other team as to try and hit the Jedi and to try and hit the team that is attacking them and the first group to get the Jedi out is the winner

Today for kiwi sport our coach Hamish he showed us the basics of how to play rippa rugby. We had to get into three groups two groups are the non-bibs and one of the groups will be the bibs. We played a game where the bib vs the non-bibs then you had a ball and you have to pass it to the mates in your group. You have to keep passing the ball until one person has touched the goal with the ball. On the first round, when the ball is in your hands you cannot run with it. On the third or fourth round you can run with the ball in your hands but if the other team tags you with two hands on you then you have to pass the ball to your other team mates. That is all we did for this week. So going over what we did: we played about eight rounds of that game and between every two games we had to sit on the stage and then the coach Hamish would add in a rule.

 LI: to measure, add, and subtract capacities.  this week for maths we learned about all the different capacities and how to measure them in different ways like using the place value hose or a number line. what we did for maths is solving all different capacities on the google slide for the first two slides we had to take videos about how to measure, add, and subtract and all the rest we had to find out the answers to all of the problems I solved the problem by using the place value house. and also we had to write our known info about the measurements and we had to give proof about it so that it is right.

senseitivity


Today we did two things about sensitivity or the nervous system.We did the venn diagram.The venn diagram was eazy it was about the nervous system and not about humans jellyfish as well as you might not know jellyfish dont have a central nervous system and a brain.That makes it eazyer all had to be about Sensitivity and the nervous system even if the living thing does not have a nervous system.Then we did the song lyrics we did it worng but it was fine,we had to fine words that we dont know or technical or scientitfic words like Depolarization.

Kiwi sport

Today for kiwi sport we played a game we had to pic a partner and we had to name them 1 or 2 and then the people who were named 1  they were the bib team and the other team was the non bib team the first game we played is when everybody is a tagger and we had to beat the other team if we get tagged we have to set down and the team with the most people out win then we had another round but we had to keep running and if we stop running we are out and then we played ball tag we had two rugby balls and the first team as to try and tag us with the ball and if we get tagged we have to go and stand with the teacher and the team with the most people out are the winners.

cause and effect


LI: to know how to write a cause and a effect and learn how to use casual language.
Today we learnt how to write a compound or complex sentence. we learnt how to make a compound and complex first we need to have a capital letter and end with a full stop and we can use capital letters when ever we write a persons name and a place, thing, date. we write the cause first and then write what happens as the effect. and once we have wrote 5 causes and effects, simple sentence then we can choose 5 causal words that make the sentence whole then we can blog about it.

today we went to kiwi can and we had a energizer called opposite we had to look ah the teacher and every thing she does we have to do that opposite so if she put her left arm out then we have to put our right arm out and if she puts her arms up then we have to put them down. then we did activity called terminator tag we are all taggers and we have to try and tag everyone and if we get tagged at the same time then we have to do rock paper scissors and if we get tagged then we have to wait until that person is tagged then we are in the game again.

today for reading we learned bout how to make connections with our prior knowledge. we had to read a book the book was a bout bodies and how to keep our bodies clean and safe and what our bodies do and our 5 senses like see, hear, feel, smell, and taste we can use our 5 senses in many ways we can see around us we can hear people talking we can feel things around us and we can smell things and we can taste things we like then after we read the book we had to write text to self and make and then make a connection and then we had to do the same thing but we had to write text to world and make a connection.

today for kiwi can we went out with our teacher Mr Ogilvie and we did a energizer we had to find a group of three and one person has to wear a bib and the other people have to try and keep that ball away from the person wearing the bib because if the person in the bib gets the ball then we have to swap over.

today for reading we did predicting. we all got a google slide that has three slides the first slide is for us to take a photo of the book we are reading. and the next slide is the predicting part we had to write down what we already know about bikes and we had to write what we think this book is about. then on the last slide is for us to read the book and and after that we had to write down what we remember from the book.
