Swimming

LI to learn how to float backwards and forwards.

Today we learned how to float on our backs and and on our stomach we had a test swim to see how we were doing in your swimming and to see if we can still swim and we also learnt how to go under water and grab one of the toys that was at the bottom of the pool.

Questions

LI: to learn how to write different types of questions.

Today for reading this week our reading group learnt how to write a right there question a think and search question a author and me question and a on my own question and we had to write question about the book we read called just to be safe we read that book and we wrote right there question a think and search question a author and me question and a on my own questions about that book.

and we wrote those question using this template and our teacher wrote one question in each of the box and then we had to make a copy and we had to write two more question then we could blog about it.

Different measurements

LI: to find different measurements
Today for maths i learnt about non standard measurements and standard measurements non standard measurements means you can measure something by using anything and standard measurements means you can measure just by using a ruler.

Today for reading we read a book and we had to write different questions from the book and we learnt how to write questions like a right there question that mean the answer for a question can be found right there in the text and we also learnt how to write a think and search question that means the answer is in the text but you may have to look in different places to find it.

Narrative

LI: to plan a narrative
This weeks writing task is to plan a narrative and explain what the 5 things we need to use to plan a narrative first i will talk about the opening the opening is our start of your narrative and you must write words that are interesting in your story so that the reader will keep reading. and the build up is when we have to write about the characters until they reach the problem  so talk about what problems need to be solved and then you write a resolution that is basically the solution use that to solve the problems and in the end talk about what the characters might have learned in the sort or what might happen next. 

Media ( Cyber-smart )

LI: to find out what Media means 

Today for Cyber-smart we had to get into pairs or a group of three i got into a group of three and we all had to find out what media means. we had to go through  different processes to find  out what media means and what different media we consume and we had to write definitions about what media means and we had to write on definitions and then we had to write another one but with more detail.

LI: to learn how to swim

This week we had our first swimming lesson at the lagoon pool there is three different levels and i was on level 1 were we learnt how to dolphin dive that is when there are two toys at the bottom of the pool and we had to find both of the toys and once we did that we had to sit down on the side of the pool. 

and we also learnt how to swim backward and we had to get to one of the plat forms in the pool. and then we learnt how to use our arms while forward kicking.
